I have been reading up on this disease and it seems there are thousands of cats suffering just the same as Bruno. As yet I cannot find anyone to do dialysis. I wish each vet could have a dialysis machine to help these wonderful little darlings who are so ill......x

Charlene, Tabitha and Lewis were also at vets. Blood tests for kidney failure were negative, thank goodness!! Charlene went as she has an infection and is now on antibiotics. Vet tested her eyes and there was no sight at that time. However, quite often in good light, she focuses her eyes perfectly and can follow you by looking straight into your eyes if she wants food or cuddles. It's so strange.....x

Hello everyone, Bruno was at vets today. He is starting on new medication tomorrow. On this photo he had just had his liquidised special meal syringed into his mouth as he still won't eat. Vet says this will build his strength and just to do it slowly so not to distress him. Bruno complained a bit and then just accepted the food which is a relief......x

He has been to the vets today. He is getting new tablets to combat high potassium levels. He has been sitting on the windowsill looking out. All the prayers and good wishes have helped him. I'm sure of that and so grateful to everyone for thinking of him......lots of love from Bruno & Greta xxxxx

Bruno and I want to thank you all for your lovely wishes. Bruno has been resting today in the spare bedroom. Thank you everyone for your special birthday wishes for Bruno. He is lying on the bed, resting now. Lewis has just been in to see him. I don't think he is up to going for his Reiki tonight and I don't want to stress him by taking him on a car journey in the cold. Bruno, my beautiful, brave and special little boy has made it to his 3rd birthday, a day I never thought I would see with this terrible illness he has. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BRUNO!!!! He never complains, he is just so good. He is battling for his life right now and I am battling to try to save him, my precious darling boy. Thank you for your lovely messages from Bruno and me. It's Sunday 31st October 2010 BRUNO'S 3RD BIRTHDAY!!!! I thank God that he has made it to his special day. He is having absent healing too and will see if he is well enough to go for his second session of Reiki. I don't want him stressed, so maybe we wont go....He is on special cat food for kidney canditions now and has it blended into a kind of soup....

Thank you so much everyone. I'm not sure if his teeth were checked or not but the vet did look in his mouth so I think they may have been. He is so weak and hasn't eaten much. I'm praying for a miracle for my little boy. I would move heaven and eath to get him well........x

I have just come back from the appointment with the healer in Gateshead about 12 miles from home. At one point while he was being worked on, Bruno fell asleep. When it was all over he went back in the cat carrier and sucked on the blanked. I hope he got some comfort from it all and that his body will start to recover.....

I am so glad he is home but so worried too that he may deteriorate without having his drip in, hence contacting a healer. Bruno is going there tonight at 8.30 and I am going to wrap him up warm for his journey. I don't really want to take him out but by the same token I need to try all avenues to see if he can be made well and cured. I am also trying crystal therapy and am preparing 5 pieces of amethyst to put under his bed for chakra clearing....

Bruno was welcomed home by the other cats who had missed him. On this photo, Lewis anxiously watches his little brother as he has his first meal. After this Bruno was exhausted and is lying down on his bed. I am getting a healer to see him tonight. I will try anything and everything for my little boy. I love him!!! x
