This is Nikita and Tigger - brother and sister. They came to me last October when Mom left them in our boat and never returned. They were about 3 weeks old then. Mom was a feral/stray that we had seen on our 5-acre property over a couple months. She was a pretty little calico, but too shy to ever come close. I still believe she brought her kittens to us for a reason ... was she sick, or had she been detected by coyotes and knew it??????????

Nikita, Tigger, and Smokey, live with Chatty in the garage-converted-kitty-condo. Unfortunately out here in the Nevada desert I can't let them be indoor-outdoor kitties for fear of coyotes and hawks. In my house I have Magic, Misty and Muffin, my 10-year old siblings that are too territorial to allow the others to join them.
