We had a random, stray dog follow us 600 feet up Standard Route on his own choice, all we had was water, in the early 90's, before we shood him away at the crux at 700 feet. So, a 11 pound cat with a big attitude should do it with no problem. He was born in Flatland Missouri, but he's got the mountains in his blood!
