She does scratch it...but she loves just laying on it a lot too. It is reversible, so when one side is destroyed you can flip it over

Bea loves hers! Thanks for tipping me off to this. Maybe one of the best cat toys ever -- lounger, scratching surface, and jungle gym all in one! I can tell it'll be pretty ugly soon, but will probably have a lifetime at least comparable to a rug scratching post, if not longer.

Yeah, I might try the flat $30 one next. That's about what I pay for a standard 30" scratching post. Storm and Ambercat have very well discovered the scratching mode. Not sure how long it'll last!
