The giant moth I caught. I told them it was a "bird bug" and made bird whistles, and they went nuts. Ambercat only batted it around though, for several minutes. It finally took Storm to eat it. Its moth season now, and their diet is quite enriched!

My Zuzu lying on the loudspeaker (she likes all music genres!).That's her favourite "scratch post" as when we sleep together, she wakes up in the small hours and starts scratching this very loudspeaker. Of course she doesn't listen to my "commands" like no, don't and so on.

The birds are in no danger. Like doerscheln said, the cats just watch the birds...they love them! They grew up together and I have trained them that they are siblings. I also don't give them any toys that look like birds or have feathers on them, so they don't get mixed messages!

One of Athena's nicknames is "forever kitten" She is four years old, but still only weighs three pounds. I think because she was born feral and lacked essential nutrition during those first few crucial weeks. It feels like her bones are hollow....may be she is part bird!

Yes, that is so sweet ! My father had budgies all his life and sometimes it happend that the cats went into the room with the birds. They just watched them and then went out of the room again. Outdoors they were hunting and eating birds..... unfortunately.
