It looks like the young guys are making sure that Floppy is never alone. That must be comforting to him now that Ivan and Robocat are gone.

What happened was I woke up Floppy as I took a second shot, and he was stretching here the best he could without disturbing Storm, who was still fast asleep.

I'd put up flyers in the area with this shot, along with some of the others you have of him before he disappeared, and then put your story on it, and say maybe that you realize he's well taken care of, but would like to know where's he's been living all this time. Maybe even talk to vets in the area? He's certainly been taken care of, and possibly one of the vets in your area might know the story.

just last night thought of that idea about the collar. I was just in total shock I was shaking and I was so excited to see him that I wasn't thinking straight maybe it was supposed to happen that way... I also was wary that it might not be him I just could not believe it we have several strays in the neighborhood and some look like Herman I'm often saying to my husband " I had a Herman siting!" the day he came to visit I had my camera ready thankfully and shot some video of him I've been watching it over and over thank you for your posts. thank you for your good words Ps. Maybe I could put up flyers? Not sure what I i would say any ideas?

Yes, his newest thing is to immediately push his head through the bottom of a new bag. He did that with the last bag while I was lying on the couch. He just went into the bag, and while I was watching, he just slowly and casually popped his head out of the bag, looking up right at me. I couldn't stop laughing for quite awhile.
