Storm just blew the kid out of the water -- twice up the route, with a single jump to 2/3's height, and not even thinking about the crux move at the top, which is quite difficult, which he instinctively nailed. After the second time, though, he was pretty spent. As a retired rock/ice climber, I was pretty impressed. And I remember, one of the things we were taught to emulate was a cat on a tree, so things come full circle! Ambercat's form in particular above is really top notch. He could be at 5000m in the Alps, or 200 Feet in the Shawangunks. OK, a little silly, but seriously, this is a great move here! Berg Heil, kits!

It's the old ramp from the ceiling perch from my old house. He was in the basement, trying to climb up the smooth side, when it was leaning against the wall. I turned it around to the rug side and he went nuts. I put it up on the wall and he's been perfecting this move, getting to the top and then getting on the shelf behind him. He's almost got it mastered!

No prayers necessary, he's just being a nutcase. He's been sporadically ingesting non-indigestible stuff since I adopted him, and tonite, he's his usual tornado of energy self. Anyway, bad thread hijack going on here, and I apologize. This started with Claire chewing AC cords, which is very bad. Maybe distract her with toys when she starts this? Or in an extreme case, maybe spray down the wires she's chewing with some CS spray?

Uh oh, not good at all! Ambercat has me very worried as well this morning. The mic on my computer was knocked off onto the floor this morning, and the little round wind screen is missing. He has a history of trying to eat dish washing sponges, and threw up strands of the mop he used to drag upstairs a few weeks ago. Keeping an eye on him now, but if this behavior doesn't change, I'm really worried for him.
