He was fine from the beginning because he's a friendly, outgoing cat. The ones Floppy has trouble with are the unfriendly, territorial ones, especially if they growl at him.

Great that they took to it. My cats get in a new bed at first then go back to their old ones and never again the new one. So as tempting as the canoes are I shouldn't get one. I have to keep telling myself that.

This was rare. Just a little while ago, Ivan lured him close, and then hit him across the face and knocked him off his feet. That's more typical. He's an ornery old guy and the only one Ambercat is cautious of.
