Absolutely adorable !!!I hope, too they have a good home together now. How do you call females like the dark one, black with more or less orange in their fur, too ? We call them Schildpattkatze.

Yes, Storm is very important, and has become the central part of the group. Ambercat has a great personality, but he was taken from his mom way too early. If it wasn't for Storm, he'd be a very different cat. Storm tempered him into a well-adjusted cat, in the nick of time.

These were the "Katrina Sisters". They were rescued after Hurricane Katrina in 2005, from New Orleans, and made their way to my area when I lived in Mass. I volunteered to foster them and had the privilege of having them in my home for only 2 weeks, in which time they totally took over the place. I might've taken then forever, but Daisy would have none of it, so I very sadly gave them back to to the shelter 2 weeks later. This is a true orange girl, and they were a team to be reckoned with! I hope they made out well and got to stay together.

A little "Mikesch" in the lobby at the vet's today. Apparently, her and her sister got adopted and are only waiting for finalization of the paperwork and formalities so they can go home and properly run their new house.

Floppy went to the vet today because he's been having trouble's with his back legs since June. The vet quickly diagnosed him with very bad arthritis. Looking at the x-ray, she referred to him as "crunchy" He could barely get up on the couch without help over the last week. She prescribed something very simple -- 80mg of aspirin, every 3 days. I gave him the first one 9 hours ago, and he made it up here an hour ago in one leap, like the "old days". Sometimes I'm really, REALLY mad at vets, sometimes, I couldn't love them enough.
