Not they, not the woman who rescued him, but her boyfriend, the trucker, apparently insisted on taking Ambercat with him, and said he "accidentally" kicked him out of the truck and couldn't get him. This cat wouldn't have run away even if he was released from the truck.

I don't understand. are you saying they deliberately left him behind. Now I never said taking a kitten on a truck trip wasn't stupid. I think it was and believed that from the beginning. He's definitely lucky he found his way to you.

I know, I die a thousand deaths when a cat is at the vet for a surgery and it's also not funny at all to wait for the blood level results...

He didn't bolt from that truck. Let's just say humans have an incredibly high capacity for sickness. And cats/dogs have an incredible resilience of spirit to the situations they're thrown into. And he's so much like our Daisy, it's beyond uncanny.

Kittens are definitely jerks relative to mature cats, but they're entertaining to the point of not needing TV or anything else while they're kittens. And it all goes by soooo fast until they slow down.

He and Maggie would get along great. Sometimes she looks like she's doing a Curves workout, running from one toy to the next, around and around.

Hi AC! lol If they like to run through things, get them a crinkle tunnel. Maggie just LOVES hers, and it would be even better with 2 (or more) cats playing in it.
