Cats are amazingly chivalrous. The Big Cats (including Storm now) want to eat that food sooo bad, but wouldn't think of taking food from a kitten, let alone one who's earned their respect so quickly. So he waits his turn for what's left.

The only glitch with the little girl is that she has very bad ear mites, and very soft stool, probably from worms. Mom says she was rescued off the street, so no surprise. First night here, she immediately knew what the litter box was for, but in the middle of the night, she "squirted" on the couch. I decided to use some left over worm meds I bought when I trapped Mikesch and Storm, and she did fine with the litter box all day, but again last night, she pooped on the couch. But at the end of the day today, her stool was much firmer, and she made only one "poop" visit to the box. However, I'm not taking any chances tonight, lol!

Thanks! A big part of the of the success of this rescue goes to the mystery motorcyclist who bothered to stop for a tiny kitten on the shoulder of a busy highway, and Kim, the worker at the gas station who took Princess from him and took her home. All I did was print up the ad and put it down there at the gas station. And as a reward, I get to take care of this incredible little cat until Mom can get her.

Orange females are so rare in Germany. It's already not so easy to find an orange boy but to find a girl like Princess is almost impossible.

She's a little doll! Are we sure that she won't turn into a new family member at Le Maison du Tele Mark? She would be the only girl and the boys could eventually, when all the hissy fits are over (and she has a tiny fierce!), be her big brothers...

Amazing, what a story. I'm so glad you found her and I hope they don't try letting her go on a truck run in the future. Cats aren't predictable like a dog can be. No matter how much "training" you might be able to give a cat they don't have the temperament to go on a road trip like that.
