The kittens got to stay outside on a beautiful early fall night, while a fire burned in the pit on the deck. The crickets and other insects weren't too happy.

Enjoying the adventure of being outside at night (without having to worry about where to get their next meal, while not giving one to the coyotes).

Sad, but not hopeless. There's so many stories of cats that have disabilities like this, that in time shrug them off and thrive. I'm sure Carlie will be one of them!

Some sad news - Poor Charlie has lost her sight. Vet thinks she'd had a stroke in the last couple of days resulting in the blindness. I am so sad for her as this means her life will be irrevocably changed. The only thing that I can do is to be there for her and give her even more TLC and to help her around while she gets used to her condition. I have no idea if she'll regain any form of sight but now I am going to be her eyes from here on.

No, didn(t change his diet. Since he is with me (6 years) Haïku eats only the same urinary care food. No exception. This special diet as he already had urinary problems when he was young, in his first year.
