Yup, everybody has access to the entire house all the time. The older cats were just sleeping when this particular clip was happening. I have some others of the three brothers joining in the fun with the kittens.

Well that's fun to see what they do when home alone. It makes me wonder what mine do. I hope baby 2 comes around to people. Do the other cats have access to this same area during the day?

OK, here's a security cam footage from when the cats were alone. Sorry for the quality, it's the best YouTube could do with the format the DVR saves to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hYjp_ofWPA

It had been a surprise when you had decided something else. :) Cant really imagine that Storm and "Shy" will change when they get older but you will find out.

It's pretty much settled that both of them will stay. The brothers are just too bonded to even consider separating. If he was just plain miserable in the house that'd be different and I'd have to make the very hard decision to release him. But since he's doing so well as a house feral there's no reason to consider that. The only hump is to see what happens as they become adults. As long as my cats are fine with them, they're good.

I hope baby 2 will get used to people although it isn't sounding good. You probably know cats better than anyone else. I wonder if he would respond differently to a female. Sometimes cats are like that. He probably remembers the capture and the terrible, in his mind, flea treatment. He doesn't realize what a wonderful cat person you are. I hope he comes around.

Yes, good news that Stanzi is feeling better and better in her new home ! I hope you have a nice day, too together with your wonderful cats. xoxo

Thanks for the answer. I am looking forward to watch the file on YouTube. I believe it is great that baby 2 is doing well with his brother and the older cats already. The question is how patient you can be with him and whether it is okay maybe for you to have a cat that is that feral. To be in an animal shelter would be worse for the little guy and we both know how his chances would be that someone will adopt him.... I keep on hoping that baby 2 will find out soon that he has found such a good home !
