She was alternating whining with trying to attack the metal spoke with her teeth!
Yes, Gypsy and Claire might have a good runoff for the goof ball championship.

She climbed into the shades and then with the "spokes" at the top being offset she couldn't jump out. The first time she had pushed them off and they tumbled from the loft to the main level floor. This time I found her while she was still working to get free.
About this cat
I adopted Gypsy from the Rocky Mountain Siamese Rescue. They said she came from Kansas. She now resides indoors in Boulder with me and is a joy. Sweet and playful and at times clumsy, she is a wonderful hostess when I have friends over. She almost never makes a sound.
