Thank you all for you comments. Bears has come back from the vet and has had an anti-biotic injection for her cystitis - she seems to be better. Vet also said there was no sign of an overactive thyroid but will need a blood test just to be on the safe side

We are both giving Bears all our love and attention but think that she is still getting to terms with her sister not being here.
About this cat
Bears is 13 years old and came to us as a rescue cat four years ago. She had three homes before she came to us. She got on immediately with her new found sister, Boos and is one of the sweetest little cats I have ever met. She has cataract over one of her eyes, so tends to be a bit nervous sometimes, but she is an absolute darling
