That's how I adopted my Sweetpea. She and her brother were in a cage together in the vet's office and were 3-4 months old. When my other cat passed away at That hospital, I waited a month, went back and her brother had been adopted. I might have taken them both, but I fell in love with her! Took her home the next day...that was 8 yrs ago.
