My dear Picato friends, I would like you to know the latest Willi news although they are not good. The last 3 examinations showed that Willi is getting sicker and sicker. Beside all the problems his body has already he now has an anemia, too. The prognosis is bad, it can last a day, a week or two but soon there wont be enough oxygen in his blood anymore.......BUT although my Willi is fatally ill it seems he does not know about it at all and does not want to give up yet. Two weeks ago he started eating again and has not lost weight since three weeks. This morning he was sitting in my bed , mauzing and waiting for his breakfast to come. Of course I know the day will come I have to let him go but today is not the day......

Maybe Munchkin will be as big as my Willi. When he was 6 months he was already taller than all my other cats, the vet thought that he was 2 years old already. When Willi was younger and not sick he had 19 pounds and he was not fat.

Well, I know how its like. After years of rescues I had 7 cats and a wilder cat outside to take care of and feed. :) It is always hard to give them to another family but we cant keep them all, can we ? :) But to be honest to me it looks like the little boy is at home already :)

I'm very worried about my Willi. He is having pancreas problems since last year october but this time it is very bad. The vet is afraid that the pancreas stopped working now because Willi lost so much weight although he was eating. Right now he does not want to eat and drink at all. He gets a lot of medicine, infusions, I feed him with a special liquid food and of course I hope that I wont lose him ......
