Thanks so much Jane. Pawdi and Thomas are so alike they could be brothers. They both have that sweet nature too. Very, very sprcial boys......xxxxxxx

I have phoned the vets and Thomas is in his cage on the drip and is very quiet but I think this must be the anaesthetic wearing off. I hope tomorrow brings good news. Your prayers have helped me cope through this worrying time....xxxxxxx

Hello Sirminzi, Lovely to hear from you. Thomas has had a problem with vomiting for many years. The original vet said it was megaesophagus and nothing could be done. This vet told me today that Thomas has never had the condition. Very worrying. I hope your daughter's cat is in good health now. It's so awful when any of them are ill. Lots of love...Greta & the cats...xxxx

Emma, one of the vets has just rung. Thomas has no stomach ulcers or anything untoward. His bloods are fine, His heart is ok, his xray is fine and his megaesophagus has been misdiagnosed. He is still asleep and they are going to wake him. They say there is thickening of the bowel wall but that is not uncommon. The only other thing that they can do is a biopsy of his bowel but are reluctant to do that at this stage. Too much risk, only last resort procedure.....

Friday morning 9.30 am. Vets have just rang. Thomas has been sick again during the night. They have given him anti-emetic drugs and they are going to have to do an xray and put a camera down his throat under a general anaesthetic. I am so frightened for him....please pray for him.......

I forgot to say.....the friendship and love from you all is such an amazing thing. This special care means so much to me.......hugs and kisses to you all....Thomas & Greta...xxxxxxxx

Thomas is not keen on the drip being attached but I think he knows it's for his own good....It certainly made him more comfortable getting fluids.....
