Yup, everybody has access to the entire house all the time. The older cats were just sleeping when this particular clip was happening. I have some others of the three brothers joining in the fun with the kittens.

OK, here's a security cam footage from when the cats were alone. Sorry for the quality, it's the best YouTube could do with the format the DVR saves to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hYjp_ofWPA

It's pretty much settled that both of them will stay. The brothers are just too bonded to even consider separating. If he was just plain miserable in the house that'd be different and I'd have to make the very hard decision to release him. But since he's doing so well as a house feral there's no reason to consider that. The only hump is to see what happens as they become adults. As long as my cats are fine with them, they're good.

Baby 2 is still completely feral and will run in terror at the sight of me, and he's nowhere to be seen and stays under the couch. However, he is a completely settled in house feral. The security cam I put in the living room shows that when there's only cats i the house, he's out, acting like a completely at ease house cat, having a ball playing with his brother and the other cats, non-stop for hours on end, and using the scratching posts and cat trees . I'll try to put up a file from the camera on YouTube this week.

Oh no. I'm so, so sorry to see this. I know what a pain this is to go through, and how much he meant. He was loved and knew it, and had a great life with you. How much they affect us in the unfairly short lives they have is testimony to how giant their spirits are.
