This update from Chloe's new family tonite (11/4/2013): "She's doing very well and will sit next to Patty or Dan. She'll sit "next to" me at the other end of the big sofa. (TELE_MARK -- Dennis is about 7 feet tall and almost 300 pounds, ex-Navy and very scary-looking, but really a big teddy bear!) Got her a recirculating water dish and she's eating well. Picked her up a nice scratching post too. She plays with her toys or the laser dot but only when she dang well feels like it. Pretty frisky for an older cat too. We cut her back from three cans a day because she'd meow and carry on like crazy, then scarf down almost a whole can then barf. Can she handel kibble ? What kind did you give her ? Thanks, Dennis " Dennis reports he's just too busy to start a Picato account. Hopefully when things calm down we'll see new pics, but Chloe is in a very good place.

I think I set Dr. Storm back a bit today with his therapy sessions. I had to dose all of them with worm medicine due to all the ferals in the house lately. For Feral Brother here, I had to close the door of the room he was in and chase him around with leather gloves as he bounced off the walls, and stuff the syringe in his mouth while he was hissing up on the window sill, worried about him landing a good bite on me despite the gloves.

Storm's latest "talent" -- he finds every pen he can in the house and stuffs them into the cushion cracks in the sofa. A long, long time ago, when I was in high school, I had friends whos cat did this with BIC lighters, stolen from kids during parties. I think we found over 10 lighters in their sofa when we made the discovery.

They told me they've been there since last Friday, and someone has already filled out the adoption paperwork. This was going to be Storm's destination, once upon a time....
