Baby (now "Munchkin" on the vet records) had lots of firsts today. (Probably) his first car ride (except maybe to be dumped, we'll never know), first vet visit, first shots. He did great and was very brave. Total clean bill of health. He's also up .5 pounds from last week, to 5 even, only 1 pound less than Chloe now, and growing fast. My three original cats love him, Chloe continues to hate everyone but me. I've spotted his sibling and the mom sporadically in the front yard and hope to trap them. In the mean time, he continues to do his best to worm his was into my life permanently. God help me, 12 years of rescues and this one is the hardest of them all (besides my cats, but they were a no-brainer).

What a beautiful little mouse! My Floppy was bottle fed for about 2 weeks before I rescued his mother Daisy and his brothers and re-united them all.

2 weeks ago I came home from work and found this little guy, another kitten just like him, and an adult I presume to be their mother in my yard. I'm in the sticks and there shouldn't be cats walking around like this, so I assumed they were dumped or feral. There were coyotes out the last few nights, so I made an emergency decision to trap them. Normally when I do that I leave the trap wired open for as long as it takes to get them used to it before trapping, but I didn't have time for that. Unfortunately, this was the only one I got, the other two wouldn't go in, and I haven't seen them since. This one's a boy, about 12 weeks old, and was very feral when I caught him, and tried to bite through my welder's glove. I kept hiom in the garage for a few days, and he escaped and hid real good in there. He tamed down VERY fast and now 2 weeks later, he has the run of the house and the enclosure. Robocat really took to him, and Chloe is terrified of him! I'm in touch with a feral rescue group and am his foster right now.

When I first introduced him to the enclosure, he panicked and went feral and tried to get out, and ran from me when I made a move towards him. 3 days later, and it's like he's been out there forever.
