For everyone who has followed her, Artemis died this morning in the warm embrace of my partner , Chris. We gave her a Steroid injection to lessen the inflammation and brought her home to cuddle for a few days. Artemis came to us five years ago after she was abandoned on the front porch of my employer. We thought she was a kitten since she was so small, but after an exam at the vet, we discovered she was four. She lived a full and wonderful life, surrounded by loved ones, and other cats to torment. She just turned 9. RIP Artemis, 2004 - 2013.

So very typical. My Artemis actually hunts for boxes to sit in. If I put one on a shelf, she will pull it off so she can sit in it.
