Dr. Storm shakes off his shyness and starts preparing to ply his trade. He most likely thinks the newcomers are ferals that need reassurance like his brother did. Vikings have their sensitive side too! It's worth working with those who can be brought into the fold.

After just an hour by Dr Storm, about a foot apart, no hugging, Squirrley is upstairs, and has learnt how to drink out of the fountain.

Poor Floppy is incredibly stressed holding himself back as the alpha cat, being hissed at by Mischief, who is an alpha female like Chloe, and is doing the only thing he can to deal with the urge to go with his instincts. Sleeping, growling, clawing at me and his brothers, and looking to me for more attention than usual. Bless him.

He does look a lot like Pirate! So good looking! As for Pirate's brothers and sisters, they are all fine. Pirate was not feeling well lately and the vet said he had diabetes. They have him home and right now are changing his diet and giving some medicine. Later, if needed, he might get insulin. We were worried about him this past week! ^..^

What a gorgeous and handsome boy you are !!! I've looked at your older pics, they are all marvellous. BTW Basil reminds me very much of Pirate from France, haven't seen pics of him and his brothers and sisters for a long time. Wonder how they are....

My friends bought a new house for me in Tenerife 2,000kms from my old home, with two floors of roof terraces so I have plenty of space outdoors to catch things with wings at night! Happy in my new home, a much travelled cat am I.

Well it has been a long time since I uploaded of photo taken by my friends but I have had a big adventure! We left mainland Spain behind in November 2014 and travelled for three days and 2,000kms by car and ferry to Tenerife to my new home. Mr. Basil - now 5 years old.

Being outside cats they should at least get their shots once a year! And a good deworming medicine would not hurt either. But both look very healthy with shiny coats, so perhaps we worry a bit too much for our furr babies.

I brought Storm up to within 3 feet of her and he gave out this long, spitting hiss! First hiss I've ever heard from him. How quickly they forget where they came from, lol!
