Oh okay, I know that not everybody shares my point of view of how many times a cat should see a vet and when they have never been sick it is fine I guess but to handle a cat in a car without a safe box could become very dangerous for cat and human....But you know that of course .To make things worse I would get a ticket in Germany when the police would stop me with an unsecured cat or dog in the car. Hope the stressful times will be over soon for Squirrley and Mischeif.

Fortunately, they won't have to put up with this situation for long. My brother has already found an awesome apartment in Peterborough, a few miles from here, on 5 acres of land and abutting a conservation area. Unfortunately, his philosophy differs from mine, so they will have to be wary of coyotes, raccoon's, foxes, fisher cats, cat hating humans, hawks, owls, etc. This one actually survived a large predator attack and has a scar on top of her head as a souvenir. She disappeared for a couple weeks according to my brother and came back with a swollen head and a puncture wound on top of her skull.

No, actually this was right after I booted my brother out so I could start the integration process. She was hyperventilating and panting very bad this first day. Now they're all in the ignore each other or stare at each other phase. Storm of course, was the one who gingerly went over and touched noses before running away in terror.
