Anyway, she has been my friend ever since then. I am wondering though, Do all longhair cats have curly hair on their stomachs? If anyone knows please illuminate me. My cat Hairy is also a longhair with curly stomach hair, so by my observations the answer would seem to be yes.

I was searching thru cat breeds and happened upon "turkish van," they have similar markings. 10 years ago a friend of mine rescued her from a farm where she was a litter runt soon to become raccoon food. 3 weeks later I rescued her from my friends' 1 year old. The child sat on her and dislocated her leg from the hip socket.
About this cat
Her song is the latch on the mornings' door. Commonly called Stella, she's a.k.a StellaWella, StellaWellaBellaByrd, beebee Stella, and Stewa (by my daughter who can't quite get her "l's" right. Stella was born in Aug. or Sept. of 2000, I got her in Dec. 2000. I put her little body inside my coat next to my heart to keep her warm, brought her home, looked in her eyes and she told me her name was Stella. We've been great friends ever since.
