Atticus came to us at a Wendys. He jumped on top of our car, and found his way into our hearts. We took him home, got him check up on at a vet, and realized he had no home. We couldn't take another cat in (three already), but we refused to take him to a shelter to sit in a cage. He's too kind hearted and special to be kept in a pen, so we fostered him for three weeks till we found someone we trusted enough to take care of him. He now is a half indoor/half outdoor cat with a wonderful life!
