This was very rare. This is a few weeks ago. Floppy was diagnosed as hyperthyroid, and this was after he was on the meds for about a week. He was jumping fairly good for awhile. Now his thyroid is under control, but his arthritis has gotten worse, probably from not being used to jumping. So now he's started on gabapentin to see if that helps his arthritis. He's just getting old.....

Mikesch just takes a couple steps when you put him back on the ground, then does one of those exaggerated sideways licks of the shoulder that says "that didn't bother me at all!"

He's back to his old self. I even managed to surprise him and picked him up and cuddled him a little, and all he did was squirm, and then acted nonchalant when I put him back down.
