It didn't really escape. Ambercat distracted him at one point and he dropped it, and I scooped it up and tossed it over the fence. He didn't bite down on it, just held it in his mouth, growling while he ran around outside and in the house with it.

Storm knew they were domestic pets and treated them with respect -- watching quietly in a non-predatory way, while Ambercat chittered at them and wanted to get through the screen.
