Storm somehow got himself under this rug today after being in this spot in the sweltering weather for about 2 hours. I grabbed the camera, but of course, as I was walking back with it, Ambercat was maneuvering into position. This shows the final seconds of Peace.

Cat brothers -- Ivan and Robocat. I'm just getting back to being able to laugh at this again, but have to brace for the "aftertaste". The side lick by Ivan at the end that says he's proud of his successful mission is something I will remember forever.

I haven't seen him so happy in literally years. I'm seeing the true Floppy, like I haven't seen since Daisy passed on 6 years ago. He's truly himself and happy and content. It's so good to see my kitten again.

Thanks Antonio. I might have to make a new tag on my account - "Neighbor Cats", or something similar. I've been here 3 years, and am still figuring out the cat situation. This is a domestic, tame cat, the first I've seen here, not a full-blown feral like Storm and Mikesch. All I've seen have been wild, and don't last long, or at least stay around long. I would never let a cat roam here, but this one is none of my business. I just hope they get him fixed soon.

I put this under "Strays/Rescues", but I don't think either is justified. I came around the front of the house this morning, and he was lounging on my front steps. I thought he would bolt, but he just walked right up to me and started purring and rolled over for a belly rub. Definitely a pet I think, no signs of distress of desperation at all. He just hung around for a few minutes and then disappeared. Definitely belongs to one of the houses around here. Nice to have a neighbor cat visiting, but this is no place for a cat to be wandering around, so I hope he'll be ok.
