"Amber", about to "encourage" Storm to pass through the tunnel at about 0-35 MPH in .5 sec. It was entertainingly violent! The rail-gun shot, I mean. The box didn't move more than a few inches.

Since Mikesch "lost" his brother to "Amber", he's been hanging out with the elders. Hopefully this will resolve as Amber matures. Floppy looks a little bewildered.

The good news is that he was doing fine with some experimental dry food, with absolutely no teeth, 3 hours after coming home. He should do fine.

She's a kitten! It could be worse -- yesterday I walked outside just in time to see Mikesch finish eating the back half of a baby snake he caught in the enclosure.

Here's a little video. Amber was trying to get Storm to play, and Storm just "played dead". This was going on for about 5 minutes before I grabbed the camera. https://youtu.be/vsgvuO5Z9Us

Much better two days later. He gave me a big scare 3 night's ago when he let out a cry, and then came stumbling into the living room with his back arched and his head tilted to the side. I think this was effecting his balance and was just getting bad enough to notice.

The kitten had ear mites when he arrived. I already dosed them all with mite medicine, but this is a yeast infection, probably from the humidity.

Yes. Before Storm came up, that flap Amber's in was perfectly flat. He came up on the bed, and walked strait for it and not missing a stride, just went strait into the blanket like a bug going into a crack in a wall and disappeared. It was pretty funny to see.

Floppy just back from the vet. He has a yeast infection in both ears, and isn't very happy with that or the medicine to treat it right now.
