He uses the cat door to the outside in both directions now, and doesn't panic as much when I go out into the enclosure, and he let's me "catch" and pet him more, but he's definitely still a wild, pure creature! He's a very special kit. I feel very privileged to have won his trust.

poor kits! Well, it'll make them appreciate the times they can go outside! Mine got so jaded with the enclosure that they only go out for a little while each day. But if something shortens their day like your situation, they of course want to go out immediately!!
