I'm keeping an eye on him. he's only been there a little over a week now, so hopefully he'll find a home soon. It would be great if a Picato poster got him, so we'd see him on here from then on out!

They put up a new pic of Clyde today, and its much better. Sterling is a no-kill shelter, they will keep Clyde as long as it takes to find a home. Unfortunately, they're not great on facilities like some of the other shelters, which are more like vacation homes for cats. Sterling is pretty basic, a cage, blankets, litter box/food, etc.

The shelter answered my email, and posted a better picture of Clyde. They say he's pretty stressed there but doing better. He looks like a great cat. If anyone on Massachusetts is looking for a cat, he can be seen at Sterling Animal Shelter -- http://www.sterlingshelter.org/pet-finder

Alternate caption -- "I used to live with What's His Face, and Who's Her ma Jiggy, but I could no longer find the time to give them, so I left. Bet their kid's will pick them out a Heck of a nursing home, someday!!"

pmgr111 -- I agree. I just emailed the shelter and let them know that pic, taken at his induction, isn't helping. Hopefully they will take another pic and put it up soon.

That's how it was with Daisy, and hopefully how it will be soon. And it looks like I wildly lucked out. I may have to play the lottery too.

No one. I think she's looking at a couple raptors riding the air currents, who are apparently in the area which is clearly her domain, although they don't know it quite yet.
tele_mark says:
She's pretty much decided that she outright owns everything that she can see. That much was obvious at the One Week mark, when she came out of her cave and had a look around.

They're definitely not friends yet, all Chloe's fault. The boys are totally fine with her, but it's very apparent that she is an Alpha cat, and she hisses and swats at them, even though the smallest -- Robocat, is more than twice her size. I'm sure that things will be fine eventually, it's only been two weeks. It should work out fine in the end. Floppy is the "official" Alpha, but when Daisy was here, she was also the smallest, and whenever she wanted to , she could floor any of her sons without even breaking a sweat.

Chloe sending the secret distress signal known only to her unit on the outside that she's in distress and can't take this treatment any longer...
tele_mark says:
I wish I could take him, but Floppy wouldn't allow another male cat in here, I tried it before. I am watching Clyde's progress and will get him if he sits too long there and place him in a NH shelter that moves cats quick, but Sterling has a VERY good record of finding homes quickly. Also, according to the previous owner, Clyde pestered the heck out of Chloe, so it probably wouldn't work here either.

This is Clyde, the other cat from the home that gave up Chloe. He ended up at Sterling Animal Shelter in Sterling, MA, where he was originally adopted from. If anyone would be interested in adopting him and getting the shelter face off of him, please go see him.
