Ivan outside for the very first time in almost 2 months. He was the second one out Floppy was the first. Here's a Youtub vid of Floppy trying out the enclosure minutes after it was completed today - 5/21 -- http://youtu.be/ej7qsqsdors -- His reaction was the same as the others -- Meh! They've become total house cats. Even at the old house, the last 2 years they go out, and stay for 1/2 hour, and come back in the house. Same here. After two months inside, they go out, mill around, and come back in the house and don't want to go back out again! Cats are so easy!

The fence on this side is temporary. When the new fence goes in on the lawn, this side will be taken down. The screen room will also be sitting here eventually, which with a screen door on either side will give access to the lawn enclosure, and the open deck.

The fence from the old house had been re-born on the deck of the new house! It's still roughly done. I need to put wood strips along the bottom and trim the wire screen to make it look good, but it works!

He'll be fine. But judging from the last time he was left at the vets for the day, he'll revert to the feral he would've been. I feel sorry for the vet techs.

Floppy has a lump on his neck going on 1 month now. I took him to the vet and it was diagnosed as a harmless cyst. The vet said that it could be left alone. But, his teeth are finally in need of a cleaning, after years of being borderline, so I reluctantly agreed to schedule the procedure, and the cyst will be removed at the same time. I hate the fact that he has to bear the experience of being in the hospital alone.

His name comes from when he was a chipmunk sized kitten, and his ears were huge in relation to his head, and they folded down the sides of his head HUGELY!

What's your name, and where do you live? It looks like an interesting place (and, is that an orange crab climbing the log next to your left paw?)
