When Moritz used his claws while he was on his back and played with my hand (and I can tell you it is not funny to get to know Moritz's claws, they are so sharp he could just use them to remove my liver, if he only wants to ;) ) I have blown a little into his face and he stopped right away . When we do that the cats believe we are hissing just like a cat. This trick worked with every cat I had/have. You can say NO ( only no never Mikesch no) too, louder as you talk usually but that is something you know I guess. No is the word every cat shoud know. But well, no idea how Mikesch would react when you "hiss" because he is not 100 % tame.

Yes it IS a big adventure to live together with a bunch of cats, to watch the different characters grow up and grow old. When Claire is not one of these cats that dont like or are afraid of other cats you should be a part of this adventure. :) And yes every time I came back home from the vet with this terrible empty basket it helped to come home to all the other cats. I couldn't sit down in a corner and cry I had to take care of them and in their own special way they took care of me. The cats showed me that live always goes on no matter what..........

Moritz and Chilli the 1 year old neighbor's cat. Seems they are becoming friends :) She is not afraid of big Moritz but still needs a little distance between her and me.

Paulinchen says "Good Night" to everybody. She had a hard day, we were at the vet again. But there are good news this time, her disease did NOT change for the worse compared to the last two checkups. Okay her blood parameteres are still to high but her kidneys are still working at least 50 %. Moritz is fine anyway his blood parameters are still back to normal. Some cats that come down with this kidney disease still live for years, let's hope Paulinchen and Moritz are some of these cats....
