Willi will be 15 years this April. Unfortunately at about this age many cats get sick, kidneys, liver, pancreas and thyroid are concerned very often. Now that my cats are all older they have to see the vet every 6 months for a big check up that if they should get sick we find out as soon as possible and can do something against ist.But what ever we try to keep our cats healthy, that they become more than 20 years like peitit Poupie doesn't happen so often

Our Willi is better today. Seems that the antibiotic he got for his pancreas this time worked very well because the infection is almost gone BUT Willi didn't endure the pills very much. That was why he did not want to eat very well or not at all.......Well, since today he does not have to take the antibiotic anymore and he is feeling better, he is eating again. Hope he will completely recover soon....

To me it all sounds a bit like Willis diseases. He too has thyroid complaint (hyperthyreose) That was why his liver values got worse, he was tired always and he lost weight. With the right pills he was fine again and now the pancreas is making trouble. Hope very much your vet can find a good therapy for Constance, Bisous à Constance et Pirate ( he is such a charming boy :) )

Willi has pancreas problems for some weeks now. The infection doesnt want to go away although the vet has tried some differnet medications.....today he has a bad day and doesnt want to eat. Tomorrow we go to the vet again, hope so much that he will find a solution to this problem......finally.

Naja, dicker Pelz ist nett gemeint, da ist aber auch ein bisschen Winterspeck unter dem Pelz :) Zum Glück ist Moritz ein begnadeter Mäusefänger. Sofern das Wetter schön ist, ist er unterwegs Mäuschen suchen und von der Jagd nimmt er dann wieder ganz von selbst ab.
