Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the mornings hush, I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die.

Thanks Taffy for my name stuff....I've read a lot of different versions of my name origin, none of them are very definitive to me. I was curious about the Italian version as it seems to be used as a word or phrase....something like...."and next" odd, huh?

I made the mistake once when he was sleeing like this but quivering with kitty dreams. I put my hand on his tummy and he hissed, growled and shot up about 6 inches in the air! I came away with a claw puncture in my hand that gushed! It wasn't his fault, he probably thought something was going to get him!

Quite right, Teocato. I've gotten to spend a lot of time with Bandit this last week or so. It's warming up, the rain is back and the snow is starting to melt. Bandit hasn't wanted to go outside in 2 days...very unusual.
