Make sure you put yourself on a waiting list. I got Ivan back after adopting him out at 8 weeks old to my landlord's son, who bought him for his little toddler daughter. When he wasn't "cute" anymore, at 2 years old, he thought of me and offered him to me , before he did what he was originally going to do -- bring him to the shelter. Not sure to this day what kind of intervention was involved in that.

Just in case you are wondering why I don‘t post pics of the orange cat....10 minutes before I wanted to go and get the cat yesterday the farmer‘s wife called and told me that her son has given the cat to his girlfriend. I am so mad and sad and disappointed because she promised me the orange beauty!
