Well, she's still pretty special, because Chloe was a calico tiger, and was probably the runt of her litter, at 6 pounds at 13 years old!

LOL Must be true that three colored males are very very rare ! And when vets can be wrong why shouldn't your sister. The bottom line is Skittles is healthy, sweet and beautiful so who cares she is a girl and not a boy ? :)
tele_mark says:
So much for my sister's nursing expertise, LOL!! "You were right . Skittles is a female . They were calling her a boy . She was neutered Tuesday . You would never know she had an operation - crazy kitten ."
doerscheln says:
Ah, okay thanks, I didn't know the english word, we call girls that look like Skittles Schildpatt Katzen, I've never seen a Schildpatt boy before.
tele_mark says:
My sister has definitely confirmed he's a boy. I have to trust her judgement, as she's a retired nurse, LOL! Apparently this type of cat is called a "Torbie" -- tortoise-shell tabby

Moritz was suffering from pancreatitis last week again. It was not so bad than the last time and he is doing much better now. The vet thinks that Moritz is an exceptional fighter.
tele_mark says:
He should be getting fixed soon, They're just waiting for him to put on weight. Then maybe we'll see if he's rare, or another "Princess/Ambercat"!
doerscheln says:
I have talked to my vet today about Skittles and she says that it is maybe easier to win millions in the lottery than to adopt a three-colored boy because they are so rare. So, your sister has won the Jackpot ! Or the boy is a girl !? I remember that mistakes like this can happen. ;-)
