He missed this move, BTW, and ended up crumpled on the carpet after the fall. Another endearing Hallmark of Felinity -- they're not hard-wired, they can and do screw up, like us -- frequently!

No, usually what happens is he's there first, then Ambercat comes along and displaces him, then the other two come along, and Floppy ends up like this. Or they all show up and surround him and he doesn't move.
