My cats do the same with the carrier in my last home. I sometimes kept the carrier assembled and sitting under the dining room table and my female cat would sneak in there and take her daytime naps in the carrier. Forget it on a vet day though.

It's just funny how he'll avoid the carrier at all costs, but then use it as a favorite sleeping spot when he knows it'll stay stationary.

Oh good, that Storm is feeling better without a vet visit ! BTW I know that, too apple vinegar is an old household remedy against UTI, my grandmother told me about it many years ago.

I understand the wet food but the vinegar, was that prescribed by the vet? I assume that is probably the case since you know he had the infection.

Storm was heading to the vet today for a UTI he's had since last week, but I canceled it today after his symptoms went away following putting him on wet food only by himself with a tsp of apple cider vinegar twice a day. Found him in the carrier tonight which was staged for the aborted trip.
