I put this under "Strays/Rescues", but I don't think either is justified. I came around the front of the house this morning, and he was lounging on my front steps. I thought he would bolt, but he just walked right up to me and started purring and rolled over for a belly rub. Definitely a pet I think, no signs of distress of desperation at all. He just hung around for a few minutes and then disappeared. Definitely belongs to one of the houses around here. Nice to have a neighbor cat visiting, but this is no place for a cat to be wandering around, so I hope he'll be ok.

Great when cat and dog get along well. Did Herman know dogs from your home ? And btw Herman's new family must be very nice because you can come and visit your Herman. Maybe you will become good friends some day.
