Incredible, wonderful really great ! Herman doesn't look like a stray at all, I am sure, too that he had found a home during all the years you were looking for him. I am very happy for you and hope that Herman will stay forever now !

Hello all, thank you for your comments. I'm amazed too. I thought we would never see Hermie again. I'm sad this morning that I didn't grab him and bring him in yesterday. But there was something different in his eyes, like he had been through some things I wouldn't understand. I didn't want to scare him. I pray he comes when I call today and I can get one of his fantastic hugs. He is a lover. I made some video of him yesterday, If anyone wants to see I can email to you. Nice to see so many cat lovers here. In answer to your question pmgr111, Herman only ran away once, and that was 6 years ago. We did have Black Kitty, and I will post his story soon, that traveled a few miles to return to our old house when we moved.
We are so blessed that God gifted us with our little furry friends. How are you Iluvcats and lele mark...been a long time!

6 years - 6 years - oh my gosh - this is a miracle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm ecstatic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I must tell the world to never, ever give up if your baby goes missing! I'm so, so happy for you all and for Herman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, just WOW! This is absolutely amazing! He looks great, I wouldn't be surprised if someone had taken him in close by and kept him as an indoor only cat all these years, and perhaps he got out through an open door or something. Keep an eye out for lost cat fliers with his picture! I'm really dumb-founded -- this was one of the saddest things I saw on here when he went missing, and the years went by, and you occasionally posted a picture , and said miracles DO happen. He went missing the year my Daisy passed away, so it was always a pretty sad thing to see this on here, knowing despite giving hope that he was almost certainly gone forever. Well, miracles DO happen after all!

Hi Martina I am so sorry for Paulinchen and what she's been through, she was such a beautiful girl. I have lost my Miminel because of kidney complications from castration, I had to castrate her when I brought Punky in and she became ill four years afterwards. She had perfusion and shots, but her condition worsened. It was hard beyond words when she decided to stop breathing and let herself go, I felt she conciously decided not to breathe anymore. Live with the hope that you meet her again one day and never let go of that hope!

He's such a charming boy! Doesn't he know you're taking a picture of him and gives you the best look? Punky knows when he's being photographed, he's somehow figured it out and tries to look beautiful.
SweetPunky says:
Here's the loving look again! The eyes half shut and very gentle, she's definintely saying to you how much she loves you, right at the moment when you take a picture of her!
SweetPunky says:
What an incredibly sweet girl! This is the look that says ' I love you', Punky gives me the same look so many times. I'm so glad she's doing better and the meds are working!

How many time has Herman left. I wasn't familiar with your story and just looked back at your pictures and it looks like he left more than once. I guess he's about 14 now. I hope he stays with you.
