Hello all, thank you for your comments. I'm amazed too. I thought we would never see Hermie again. I'm sad this morning that I didn't grab him and bring him in yesterday. But there was something different in his eyes, like he had been through some things I wouldn't understand. I didn't want to scare him. I pray he comes when I call today and I can get one of his fantastic hugs. He is a lover. I made some video of him yesterday, If anyone wants to see I can email to you. Nice to see so many cat lovers here. In answer to your question pmgr111, Herman only ran away once, and that was 6 years ago. We did have Black Kitty, and I will post his story soon, that traveled a few miles to return to our old house when we moved. We are so blessed that God gifted us with our little furry friends. How are you Iluvcats and lele mark...been a long time!

Keep an eye out for lost cat fliers with his picture! I'm really dumb-founded -- this was one of the saddest things I saw on here when he went missing, and the years went by, and you occasionally posted a picture , and said miracles DO happen. He went missing the year my Daisy passed away, so it was always a pretty sad thing to see this on here, knowing despite giving hope that he was almost certainly gone forever. Well, miracles DO happen after all!

I have lost my Miminel because of kidney complications from castration, I had to castrate her when I brought Punky in and she became ill four years afterwards. She had perfusion and shots, but her condition worsened. It was hard beyond words when she decided to stop breathing and let herself go, I felt she conciously decided not to breathe anymore. Live with the hope that you meet her again one day and never let go of that hope!
