Congratulations. This is a great story so far and I look forward to watching her with her new family. The tiny female that I kept for a friend for a while totally dominated my five big boys. Think this might happen here too.

I must admit I envy you a bit but I am also very happy for you and Amber that she may stay ! And you never know, maybe I will have an orange girl or boy some day, too. I know of course that the color doesn't matter at all but to have a cat like this is what I wish for since I was a child.

Oooh, that is fantastic Mark that you can keep Amber !!!! And Maria, you can be sure this little orange Lady will have a great and sheltered life . And what a coincidence that her name is Amber now. You know just like Mikesch some names are choosen already for future cats and beside Lola and Ruby, Amber ist on my list for orange females, too so ...What a wonderful name for this kitty ! ;-)

To make it official -- Princess is now here permanently, and is now Amber! Her guardian angel that rescued her as a homeless stray in Missouri, and I decided that she fits in so well here right "out of the box", that she belongs here. She made a big sacrifice letting this one go, but she'll get to see her life here on Picato, and will have another spot available in Missouri for another cat fortunate enough to find her. Thank you Maria!

Everyone -- Yankeegirl is Princess's rescuer! I invited her to post her cats here, and she has accepted! All her cats are rescues that would've had a much different life.

Storm and Mikesch (and Ivan, a little) are starting to gently discipline her now. Just a very gentle swat when she lunges at them. Otherwise, they wait for her to give chase and run from her. I think things are about to get interesting.
