Your Maggie is adorable ! Welcome to the picato family little one. And what a story, I believe, too it was meant to be that she lives with you now and makes life a bit happier . XO

This is my new kitty Maggie. She was found on a downtown street at about 4 weeks old by a man who lives in my apartment building. He brought her home to his wife, who was mad at him for something, and she told him to get rid of her. He then tossed her outside (growl). My friend Bonnie who lives here too heard about it and went looking for her. She brought her home and was looking for a home for her. She couldn't keep her because she already has a cat, and we're allowed only one. She found someone, but that fell through. The apartment building manager told her to get rid of her. She waited a few days, still looking for a home, but couldn't find one. I didn't know any of this was going on. I heard about it on Friday when Gracie died, and she was going to be taken to the pound. I figured it was meant to be, and took her. So I've had her for 2 days now, and she's adorable and loving. She loves to cuddle, and has kept me laughing, instead of crying and lonely which I would have been.

That bedspread is all ratty, and moth eaten, and due for replacement. Maybe I should take Claire to the store to use as my Colour swatch when picking out a new one!

Aaawww I see. Pretty ladies ! Cats are not fond of changes but they are in good hands. I guess the boys were inside while the girls were outside ? I could imagine it would be too much stress to meet the gang.

These are my brother's two 12 year old girls, Squirrley on the left, and Mischeif. I am babysitting them while my brother moves from Upstate NY and gets a place here. They are pretty stressed, as they have been outdoor cats all their lives, so the sudden change to an enclosed area with no woods isn't good right now.
