And my Moritz my stupid old boy had to go to the vet, too. He had a cat fight again and again an abscess that had to be opened and medicated. And of course he has an interesting haircut again, too.....I have told him so often now that he should leave the other cats alone but no he doesn't listen and no chance to keep a cat inside the house 24 hours every day that is used to go out all his life, that would be kitty jail for Moritz.

Paulinchen's check-up has shown that her renal disease has changed for the worse. I expected someting like that because my little cat has lost weight the last weeks and doesn't eat so well anymore. She gets all the treatment possible so all I can do now is to love and pamper her and wait what will happen.....

Last picture before the Gates of Hell swung open on the poor kids. I really felt bad for what they went through, but I think a boarding situation would've been far worse. And, in any case, at the end of the ordeal, it took 3/4 of them a maximum of 2 hours to come out of hiding in the basement and come upstairs and find all the new stuff cool. Mikesch took a bit more time, but was even more tame at the end of it.

After getting everything cleared out for the hardwood floor install, the kids politely state: "Are you slow, Dad? All these years, and you didn't know, that this is the proper way to set up a couch?!? Don 't worry, we have a very NICE nursing home lined up for you....."
