Yes, people can be sooo stupid. Any cat over 6 months is considered "old" and nobody wants them, believe it or not. And if they are black or have black in their furs, it is even worse. Unfortunately there are too many superstitions out there!

These 5 cats are 2 and 3 years old. I rescued them and they still hide when anyone comes over. No one until now has really ever seen them, at least never together. I walked over to the room and just found them all together and snapped this shot with my phone. I couldn't believe it was like they were posing for the picture. Starting from the left is Joshy (most timid) then Casey (most brave) then Billy turning his head back (lets me pet him on his own terms), then Jerry (always in high alert) and finally little Hiroshi (the only female-named before we knew her gender) They all get along so well and are such docile cats. We just love them like crazy!
