One of my past kitties - Quigley - had to have the surgery probably about 35 years ago - it was very scary then - in fact he had to have it done twice. At least it's marvelous they can cure the situation if found. I try to tell people with male kitties to always be alert to piddle problems and to every once in a while - stand them up in front of you with their back to you and feel down their lower belly and make sure that the bladder is NOT the size of a baseball. Prayers for your quickly recovery Haiku --- what a great parent you are to take such good care of him! xoxox
