I believe that Mikesch was a brave boy yesterday :) I had the same experience with Donna, Willi and Moritz. The first day it took them hours to go out the first time and they came running back right away BUT the third day already it was difficult to get them inside again, so....... :)

Storm and Floppy want to be the new kitchen decoration ? Cats are sitting on my cupboard in the kitchen, too but they are made of wood . :)

You know I love all your cats although I was not able to differ your older boys, until today. ;) Some time ago I thought it would be a good idea to look at the color of their collars but Ivan and Robocat both have a green collar, haven't they ? Well, today I found out that Ivan has got a yellow name plate. Without this help I would not have a chance. I know one boy is the biggest and one is darker and one is more red , not enough to find out who is who on some pics.

I let him out. I finished the top overhangs on the deck fence, but looks like they're not needed. And this ended up being another breakthrough. Tonite he's acting very tame. He's letting me pet him, and he flipped on his back a few times and played with my fingers like a real kitten!

Good news. Maybe he remembers how bad it was outside for him. Hopefully he knows your house is where he gets his food now so if he were to get outside the yard he would come home for food.

This is as far outside as he got before running back inside. I dumped the chair over just in case he panicked so he couldn't use it to jump off of. I think he MIGHT be able to make the roof if he really wanted to.

After all my anxiety, it ended up for nothing. It took him 2 hours to cross the threshold with the door wide open, and then when something spooked hi, he ran right back into the house. He's spent 7 months of his 9 months (estimated) in the house, so this is definitely his home!
