Well, it is Dr. Storm, isnt it ? :) I saw many pics of your Daisy, she was such a Darling. She will never be forgotten. And her sons Bear, Tony and Munchkin......soooo cute.

I'm still hoping their mother survived the winter and is still around somewhere. There's lots of cat tracks in the snow, so maybe I'll get her this year. I decided a long time ago that I'd take care of 7 cats total -- the size of the original litter and Daisy.

Maybe if Storm and Mikesch had had a sister......could be easier to bring together your boys and a young female. Some years with foster cats have shown me that often it is easier with Boys than with girls. It happened more and more that especially older cats didnt like any cat company and we had to find a home where they were the only cat.

Storm is the best thing to happen to Robocat since he lost his mother Daisy. He was the Momma's Boy in the litter, and when she passed, it was very subtle to see, but he was affected by it, mostly visible by quickly escalating aggression against his brothers during play. When Storm came on the scene, Robocat became his old self, before Daisy left us.

Absolutely fine that you asked. She creeps into my thoughts a couple times each year anyways. I was going to get her healthy and re-home her because she didn't do well in the house with the other cats, like Chloe, so I was never really attached to her, and was actually looking forward to re-homing her. The sad part was that after watching Daisy slowly go away over a yer from lymphoma, deciding to adopt a senior female cat from a shelter was like the only "good" thing to come out of that, and then Beba ended up hating us all, and then she had to be PTS. And then a few years later, Chloe doesn't do too well here either, but at least that was a happy ending. It's as if Daisy's spirit forbids another female cat to be here, but male kittens are fine.....
